Whether you’re helping players in-game or leading a team behind the scenes, every role at Aethro starts with trust, passion, and a commitment to doing good work. Please note: we do not hand out admin roles immediately—Gaming Staff begin with VIP-level access and earn responsibilities through consistent contributions.
All positions start as volunteer roles, with the opportunity to become paid based on your involvement and the success of the platform you support.

Game Master – Minecraft
Volunteer VIP Perks Staff PermissionsServer: Shadows of Aethro (Forge) or Aethro Survival (Towny)
Reports To: Tristan (Towny) or Odaishi (Forge Temp)
Description:
Game Masters are hands-on support staff for our Minecraft servers. You’ll assist players, help moderate gameplay, and contribute to events—all with real staff permissions and VIP perks.
- Welcome and assist new players
- Moderate chat and behavior issues
- Support quests, events, and gameplay quality
- Report bugs and escalate issues as needed
Requirements:
- Familiar with Forge or Towny Minecraft
- Active on Discord
- 16+ and able to work as part of a team
Content Creator
Volunteer VIP Elite Creator Perks
Platform: YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Kick, or similar
Reports To: Odaishi (Staff Manager)
Description:
As an Aethro Content Creator, you'll showcase our servers while keeping full creative freedom. We support you with in-game perks, promo codes for your audience, and exposure across our platforms. Whether you stream, record, or make clips, if it builds community—we want you on board.
- Stream or record content featuring Aethro servers
- Use your unique voice—no scripting, no micromanaging
- Get promo codes and Discord role perks
- Collaborate on events and feature drops
Requirements:
- Active content schedule (streams, uploads, or shorts)
- Positive, community-friendly tone (no toxic content)
- Basic Discord activity to stay connected
Game Manager – Shadows of Aethro (Forge)
Volunteer Leadership Role Forge ModdedServer: Shadows of Aethro (Forge)
Reports To: Odaishi (Staff Manager)
Description:
As Game Manager for Shadows of Aethro, you'll lead our modded Forge server team. You’ll oversee Game Masters, manage server issues, and help shape gameplay. This is a leadership role for someone who can balance creativity with accountability.
- Supervise and support Game Masters
- Coordinate Forge mod updates and testing
- Oversee player experience and event planning
- Report server status and improvements to staff
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Forge modpacks (MineColonies preferred)
- Prior leadership or staff experience
- Active presence on Discord
- 18+ and capable of managing a small team
Marketing Manager
Volunteer Growth Potential Outreach FocusDepartment: Aethro Marketing & Outreach
Reports To: Odaishi (Staff Manager)
Description:
We're looking for someone who does more than talk about ideas—we want someone who executes. As Marketing Manager, you'll help grow Aethro through smart outreach, community engagement, and creator partnerships. This is a ground-level leadership role with real impact and potential future pay.
- Run campaigns to promote servers and events
- Find and connect with content creators
- Post in forums, Discords, and socials regularly
- Track growth, test ideas, and iterate
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of gaming communities
- Experience with Reddit, Twitter, Discord, or niche forums
- Solid writing and outreach skills
- Self-driven, with follow-through
