Terms of Service

By accessing or using any services, products, or features operated by Aethro (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, stop using our services immediately.

1. Scope of Services

We operate and maintain community services and Minecraft servers under the Aethro brand. We do not operate or support World of Warcraft servers or FiveM servers. Any reference to them in old material is void.

Current offerings include:

  • Shadows of Aethro Minecraft Server and related services
  • Online shops and digital goods
  • Custom in‑game perks, ranks, or vanity items

2. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are processed through Tebex (formerly Buycraft).

  • You agree to Tebex’s payment policies and terms.
  • Tebex is our exclusive transactional gateway and handles payment security, VAT/GST, and chargeback processes.

We do not store your payment information ourselves.

3. Refund Policy

All payments are final and non‑refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing by us.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension of your account and revocation of in‑game items, ranks, or access.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or staff
  • Break any applicable law while using our services

We may mute, ban, suspend, or terminate your access without warning if you break these rules.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

We do not own Minecraft, its assets, code, or any of its trademarks. All rights to Minecraft belong to Mojang Studios and Microsoft.

What we do own includes our custom content, plugins, server configurations, website designs, branding for Aethro, and original art or writing created by us.

When you buy a rank, tag, or item, you are purchasing a license to access extra features on our server. You are not purchasing ownership of any intellectual property owned by Mojang/Microsoft or any other third party.

6. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.

7. Service Availability

Our services are provided as‑is and as‑available. We make no guarantees of uptime, uninterrupted gameplay, or that any feature will remain available permanently. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without liability.

8. Termination

We may terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraud, abuse, or malicious activity
  • We discontinue a service entirely

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, including loss of virtual items, downtime or service interruptions, or issues caused by third‑party services (including Tebex). Use our services at your own risk.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises out of or relates to these Terms or our services:

  • You agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally with us first by contacting support.
  • If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court in California, at our discretion.
  • You waive the right to participate in any class action against us.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA. Any legal action or proceeding (to the extent not handled by arbitration or small claims court) shall take place in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

12. Amendments

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will provide clear notice through at least one of the following before the new Terms take effect:

  • A prominent notice on our website
  • A Discord announcement in our official server
  • An email or in‑game message if applicable

The notice will include the effective date of the updated Terms. Your continued use of our services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using our services before the effective date.
