🎉 BIG UPDATE DAY on Shadows of Aethro! 🎉
Alright folks, buckle up — the update train has arrived and it’s loaded with chaos, fixes, and a few broken dreams. Here’s what’s new:

🧙‍♂️ JEI → EMI Swap!
JEI has been replaced with EMI because EMI’s lighter, faster, and doesn’t scream when it loads. If you really miss JEI, fine. Go reinstall it yourself.

💧 AlltheLeaks
Got its act together — fewer crashes, fewer memory leaks. Basically, it’s now less of a fire hazard.

📜 Amendments, Balm, BlockUI, Chat Heads, Connectivity
All updated and shiny. No major drama, just code magic.

🪨 Every Compat (Gems, Stone, Wood)
Yeeted. Gone. Banished. Why? Because they made new players wait 10–15 minutes to load in. Quark already does the same stuff but better, so goodbye lag bricks.

⚔️ War & Taxes
Raids now actually steal your taxes. Yep. Welcome to government-approved robbery.

🎒 Sophisticated Backpacks (and friends)
Core, Storage, and Create Integration — all updated. Time to pack smarter, not harder.

🏰 MineColonies + Supplementaries Tweaks
Big colony love here:

Guards actually update their banners now (fashion matters).
Gatehouse lets non-officers teleport too — for a small price, of course.
Teleports land in the middle of the gatehouse instead of “somewhere nearby.”
Archers learned gravity is real and will stop swan-diving off towers.

Spooky season has crept into Aethro! All month long, prepare for ghosts, ghouls, and haunted cogs lurking around every corner.

👻Haunted Spawn
When you log in, you'll notice spawn has been transformed with eerie decorations to set the Halloween mood. Watch out for all the blood - explore...if you dare.

🪄 Seasonal Crate
This October, earn keys to unlock our limited-time Halloween Crate, packed with ghostly rewards (and treats)! Keep an eye out for events and activities to claim your share of keys to use on this new crate!

🕸️ Spooky Textures
The world may look slightly different. Our seasonal texture pack brings new, haunted textures across the server. Don't be surprised if things feel a bit creepier than usual.

🩸 Monsters Unleashed
As previously mentioned, Michael Myers, Chucky, and other terrors have been spotted roaming the wild, sneaking on unsuspecting players. Stay sharp and travel with caution - no one is safe this month.

⏱ Stop Times Updated
The Westbound line (Spawn → Eldermire) now lingers 10 seconds at each station, giving players just enough time to panic about forgotten tickets.
At Spawn, the train waits a full 60 seconds for sleepy heroes to crawl out of bed and still catch it.

🚧 Eldermire Barricades
The Train Shop has closed its doors. Eldermire officials are stacking barricades of questionable design and shouting about “outsiders with too many potatoes.” If you’re holding potatoes, try not to look guilty.

⚙️ Ongoing Tinkering
Our engineers are still experimenting with train type, size, and possibly a version that scolds you in twelve languages if you jump on the roof. Further adjustments are coming.

💡 Traveler’s Wisdom
The train lives. The borders tighten. Chaos continues. Ride wisely, keep your tickets dry, and never trust a gremlin offering “express upgrades.”
