This Privacy Policy explains how Aethro handles personal information across Aethro.net, Aethro Accounts, Resolve, related Discord integrations, TopMCServer, Play Aethro, Aethro Online, and other Aethro-operated services that link to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the service, we may collect Discord identity information, including Discord ID, username, global display name, avatar, OAuth sign-in confirmation, and email address when Discord provides it. We may also collect account records, contact forms, support tickets, transcripts, moderation records, uploaded evidence, technical logs, IP-address-related security records, and transaction data where a paid service is used.
3. Why we use it
We use information to operate the services, authenticate accounts, provide recovery support, route messages, protect users and systems, investigate abuse, enforce policies, improve the network, communicate important account and service notices, and meet legal obligations.
4. Discord OAuth and recovery email
Aethro Accounts use Discord OAuth. When you grant the requested permissions, Discord may provide us your Discord identity and email address. We use the email provided through Discord as a recovery contact if you lose access to Discord, subject to verification and security review. It is not used as a replacement login method unless and until that feature is explicitly launched.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may share data with hosting, database, security, communications, payment, analytics, Discord, and other service providers that help operate Aethro services. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, enforcing our terms, responding to lawful requests, or protecting the rights and property of Aethro and others.
6. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including operational, safety, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Support records, moderation records, and evidence may be retained longer when needed to investigate or enforce a decision.
